The Late Great John Lennon was a New Yorker. He Loved the City, and chose to Live here (there).
The Immigration Department of The United States of America wanted to deport John Lennon, and tried to for years. On October 1975 a Supreme Court Judge overturned the “order of deportation” against John Lennon. It was a most happy day for John and his wife Yoko Ono and all who supported Lennon’s right to live in New York, and The United States of America. Sadly 5 years later on December 8, 1980, the no-good “Sick Bastard” Mark David Chapman murdered John in front of his home, The Dakota, on West 72nd Street in New York. It was a horible day, and millions of Lennon Fans around the World mourned John’s death and horrible assasination at the hands of a psychopath. But John lives on in his wonderful music, and the memory of those who loved him, and his millions of fans. “Long Live John”
